HOW IT WORKS:
Students must meet on Wednesdays (5PM - 6PM) and Sundays (12PM - 1:15PM) for the required off campus physical education teen yoga class.
Students are encouraged to practice yoga at least one more time per week. They may choose ANY class off of the Breath & Body Yoga Schedule.
Students must participate in the program during the entire Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semester in order to be eligible for Teen Yoga Teacher Training in the summer.
Full participation in this program is required.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Embody Life's Yoga Program is open to any 8th grade through 12th grade student interested in experiencing the benefits of a regular yoga and meditation practice.

Consistent contact and follow up support as needed with Program Director, Morgan Osmani regarding program requirements
All needed supplies (with the exception of a yoga mat and yoga clothing)
Morgan has over 10 years of experience in working with teenagers both on and off of the yoga mat. In addition to being an experienced yoga teacher, Morgan has a Masters degree in Counseling and is currently working on her Ph.D. with a specific research focus on teenagers and mindfulness processes, including yoga and meditation. Her wide variety of experience with teens and families that started in a summer camp setting designed to assist teens in their own growth, leadership skills, and self-expression is put to use in this yoga program. Her work history includes employment with several non-profits aimed at reaching teens including Communities in Schools, and the Girls Empowerment Network of Austin. Morgan is the founder of Embody Life, a new non-profit that brings yoga and mindfulness programs to public schools, private schools and the greater Austin community.
