EMBODY LIFE TEEN PROGRAMS
Embody Life's Teen Yoga + Meditation program is an opportunity for 9th through 12th grade students to develop a yoga and meditation practice in an environment tailored to the unique needs of teenagers. Through physical yoga practice, and mindfulness based meditation, students are empowered to move through personal limits while developing the skills to be their most authentic and confident SELF in the world as they discover the power of presence, and the truth of who they are and what they can do with their heart, mind, body, and spirit.


LOCATION:
Series will meet at the newest Embody Life location at Be Well Austin Yoga House @ 1906 West Koenig Lane

TIMING:
Mondays @ Be Well Yoga House
Embody Life Teen Group - 5:30PM to 7:00PM


Wednesdays @ SoulCycle Downtown
SoulCycle w/Christy Hibler - 5:30PM - 6:30PM 

Saturdays @ Be Well Yoga House
Special monthly events, guest speakers and workshops to be announced. 


STUDENTS CAN EXPECT TO:
  • Confidently grow a yoga and meditation practice in powerful, challenging, and fun ways
  • Practice, explore, discover, and apply ancient wisdom philosophies to everyday life
  • Be empowered to challenge themselves through goal setting and move through personal limits
  • Cultivate a sense of self-study, self-knowledge, and relationship skills

  • Reduce stress, and anxiety, and increase resiliency

***Teens are required to commit to this program for the entire semester.*** 

HIGHLIGHTS OF CURRICULUM INCLUDE:
  • Anatomy lectures (body awareness)
  • Embody Life Empowerment Project
  • Goal Setting, Designing Your Life, and Envisioning Your Authentic Path
  • Finding Your (teaching) Voice
  • Weekly 20-50 minute meditations/guided visualizations
  • Workshops on poses and exposure to different styles of yoga
  • Guest speakers brought in from a wide variety of backgrounds throughout the community
  • ​Detailed syllabus and workbook to registered students

TYPICAL CLASS OUTLINE:
  • Centering meditation
  • Introduction of class theme, key yoga pose, corresponding physical components and practice sequence
  • Physical practice - warm up and movement sequences that build upon each other weekly
  • Closing of physical practice 
  • Closing meditation
  • Discussion, reporting, Q&A​

PROGRAM TUITION: 
  • One-Time Registration Fee to be paid at the beginning of each semester: $150 
  • Monthly Program Tuition: $475 and  includes all classes and supplies for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays
  • Semester Registration Paid in Full: $1800 [10% discount offered to families who pay in full at start of semester]
  • Payment plans available upon request.
  • Registration covers all classes in the series and related materials with the exception of a yoga mat.
  • Participating teen students must be in 9th through 12th grade
  • Yoga Alliance Teacher Certification available for students who participate in monthly programming for a total of 4 semesters. 

FALL ENROLLMENT PERIOD--AUGUST 1ST - SEPTEMBER 7TH!!!

THIS YOGA SERIES WILL MEET ON THE FOLLOWING DATES: 
  • Fall Programming runs September 10th to December 19th
Please note that there is no class meeting on specified school holidays. 
Scholarships available upon request.

ABOUT MORGAN 

Picture
Morgan Osmani is a psychotherapist, yoga and meditation instructor, and retreat facilitator, and passionate about supporting others in the process of healing and transformation. Morgan has over 13 years of experience empowering young people from a diverse background in their own personal growth and development via her private psychotherapy practice in Austin, Texas, in addition to Camp Weloki, an empowering summer camp and retreat experience for teens located in St. Louis, Missouri, Communities in Schools of Central Texas, the Girls Empowerment Network of Austin, and the State of Texas Family and Protective Services Division. 

Morgan is currently finishing her Ph.D. in Spiritual Psychology and has a passion for supporting individuals and groups in connecting to the power of self-expression via the heart, mind, and body. Through the engagement of soulful, centering practices and dialogue in support of wholehearted living, Morgan weaves the power of self-acceptance, observation, and slowing down together in ways that support a deepening connection to truth, wisdom, and the power of possibility. I lead weekly classes on Wednesday evenings, meet with clients individually, and lead seasonal retreats in Molokai, Hawaii and Lake Louise, Canada throughout the year.
Morgan offers individual and group psychotherapy sessions, wellness coaching, and teaches public yoga classes. Morgan offers a variety of yoga and meditation class series designed to support groups in deepening their sense of wellness, embodied presence, vitality, and wholehearted living.
Morgan also offers specialty groups and series for teenagers in middle school and high school.
